I used table Purchtable and Purchline to import open purchase order from excel and it work.  I can see the PO at both Header and Line level.  However, the below Error Message stops me from posting the PO- “Cannot receive quantity 1,000 because inventory transactions with status Ordered, Arrived or Registered are insufficient.  Operation canceled.”

Here is a simpler suggestion. Don't import the InventTrans table; just the PurchTable and PurchLines. But make sure the status of POs are imported as "Journal".  After the import, then change the status to "open".  When you do that, the system will create the InventTrans stuff automatically. I've been importing this stuff for quite awhile.  That the least complicated way to do it.

Did you verify if there are inventory transactions for the purchase lines ? This error mostly happens when there is no or not  enough  inventory transactions.

  Thank you very much for your advice.  I found out that In addition to import the 2 tables:  Purchtable and Purchline, I also need to complete another inventory table InventTrans and finally it worked.
