Both Axapta and SAP are ERP software. In my opinion reports should not recide inside the ERP program, exept for reports such as the Confirmation, Packing Slip, Picking List and the Invoice. Let each programm to what it is best doing, and use Reporting software to create, view and distribute reports. Crystal Reports is a known solution, and SQL 2005 Reporting Services is gaining more and more ground. And by placing the reports on a web server, both ERP programs as Axapta and SAP should be able to read out these reports through a portal.
